Nepean All-City Jazz Band

announces the following vacancies for the 2006-07 performance season:

ALTO SAXOPHONE
TENOR SAXOPHONE
TRUMPET
GUITAR
BASS
DRUMS

Auditions will occur on or around September 21-22, 2006.
To register for an audition, call Neil Yorke-Slader (831-8684) by September 15^th. Applicants must be 20 years of age or less as of January 1, 2007.

Nepean All-City Jazz Band:

- was the 2003-04 CMEA/MIAC “Award for Excellence in Canadian Jazz” winner,

- has earned Gold Awards for the last 19 consecutive years at Musicfest Canada’s National Finals,

- was a featured ensemble at the 2005 Governor-General’s Summer Concert Series at Rideau Hall,

- Has performed concerts with jazz greats Guido Basso, Randy Brecker, Bob Mintzer, Denny Christianson, Alastair Kay, Chase Sanborn, Alex Dean, Mike Tomaro and Pat LeBarbera,

- Was a featured ensemble at the 2006 Ottawa International Jazz Festival.
