announces the following vacancies for the 2010/11 performance season:



ALTO SAXOPHONE
TRUMPET
TROMBONE
GUITAR
BASS

Applicants must be 20 years of age or less as of January 1, 2011. To register for an audition, please e-mail Neil Yorke-Slader at neil.yorke-slader@ocdsb.ca before September 17, 2010. Auditions will be held the following week; registered applicants will receive an audition package a few days before their scheduled audition.

Nepean All-City Jazz Band:

- was the 2009-10 CMEA/MIAC “Award for Excellence in Canadian Jazz” winner,

- has earned Gold Awards for the last 23 consecutive years at Musicfest Canada’s National Finals,

- Has performed concerts with jazz greats Guido Basso, Randy Brecker, Bob Mintzer, Denny Christianson, Alastair Kay, Chase Sanborn, Alex Dean, Mike Tomaro, Pat LeBarbera, Christine Jensen, Steve McDade, Ian McDougall.
